One winter solstice. How soft the sun seeps, Low slung in winters sky; Creeping cold cradledOne winter solstice.
As iced blue clouds lie.
The harsh winter wind Cracks throughout dormant trees, Rubbing their bosom Shaking splitting knees.
Stuttering branches Deftly reach up towards The slumbering sphere, Who rolls, ever onwards.
Rough stubbled paddocks - Exhausted, malnourished; Unkemped ploughed furrows Where harvests once flourished.
Black ice laced roads slip Silent through countryside; Polished surfaces Weaving around ton

Sonnet for a momentIts that split second before I kiss you And the space and distance between our heads Has grown an eternal universe anew, Paralysing my quivering lips with dread. Black pools fall forever, then crystallise, Mirrored perfection entices me near, Your face reflects the verve I idolise; The corner of your lips dries up my fear. The moment is over, the pause is gone, The oceans freeze over, the wind stops still, Paradoxes possible, life lives on, Piercing light breaks over the window sill.Sonnet for a moment

Butterflies who know their magnificence
Are crippled by fear of ma

Like the kind sun that beams upon my face, Asking that I give nothing in return, Your light smile filled my dark heartless space, Even though my life was not your concern.Sonnet for a smile
Not even in death will your beauty wane, Nor times vicissitudes taint your splendour; Immortal gorgeousness will never stain, Humanities hope infinite wonder.
The moments in time we long to capture, Forever fill with eternal rap
